Meet RAD Artist: Rachel Pohl

THE BASICS   Name: Rachel Pohl Residence: Lofoten Islands of Norway Occupation: Artist, Athlete, Writer We teamed up with RAD Artist, Rachel Pohl, to sit down and reflect. Many of her art pieces, which capture beautiful reflection landscapes, are inspired by times and places where she’s reflected and become more present.   What makes Spirit Island so special to you? This painting is of Spirit Island in Jasper National Park, Alberta. The Canadian Rockies are a really special place to me. They perfectly represent this chapter of stillness because this place has always been for many, many years where I would go with my family and now with my husband to really just be still and to reflect on life and just be in awe of these absolutely stunning mountains.   Tell us more about your reflection pieces. This reflection painting really represents moving more towards stillness. There's still some ripples in the water but it's trending towards this

Sand Resistant Towels For Everywhere

The Best Sand Resistant Beach Towel Peak summer is here, which means now is the time to take advantage of a beach trip. While a beach chair or umbrella is nice to have, an absorbent and sand resistant towel is a nonnegotiable beach essential. Our Everywhere Towels not only feature bright bold designs, but they have an antimicrobial finish to repel sand, pet hair, odor and stains. Everywhere Towel - Glacier Rays Everywhere Towel - Newport Swell Ultra-absorbent & Quick-drying There’s nothing worse than taking a dip in the ocean and coming back to dry off with a towel covered in sand. Our sand resistant towels repel debris but don’t compromise on absorbency. Using a polyester microsuede material, our Everywhere Towels are soft, soak water right up, and dry quickly in the sun. Meet RAD Artist: Erik Abel

THE BASICS   Name: Erik Abel Residence: Ashland, OR Occupation: Artist and Surfer Inspired by his love of the ocean, artist and surfer Erik Abel used bright, bold colors and geometric patterns for our capsule collection. Featuring two Original Puffy Blankets and an Everywhere Towel, this partnership was made for a day on the beach.   Where are you from and what type of art do you make? My name's Erik Abel. I'm an artist in Southern Oregon. I love to paint. I love to draw.   Tell us a little bit more about our collab. Rumpl hit me up and wanted to do a collab with my art on some of their blankets and towels. And I was stoked! I looked into Rumpl a bit more, and it was kind of right in line with what I've been doing as far as trying to get everything a little more eco-friendly, little less impact on the planet, filling their blankets with recycled bottles. What themes are consistent in your work? You're not gonna see anyt

AMHS Sailing- Adventures with Rumpl

Earlier this year, our customer experience team was helping respond to some messages across our social media platforms and came across some hilarious and attention-catching requests for sponsorship and collaboration from an account associated with the Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston, SC. We reached out to their team to learn more about how they discovered Rumpl, what made them such big fans, and why they were so excited to reach out to us. Elizabeth Hample and Caroline Uram are two of the AMHS Sailing Team members and were kind enough to share their experience with the rest of the Rumpl community. We hope you enjoy it! How big is your team and how did you hear about Rumpl? Caroline heard about Rumpl through her extended family. Her mother’s cousin’s wife, Lisa Congdon , designed the Original Puffy Blanket - Night Garden blanket for y’all. Sailing is always cold in the winter and we usually use fleece blankets or towels to keep us war
